For 23 years, Bill Sellers directed the Brandywine Conservancy’s Environmental Management Center, during which time the Conservancy placed conservation easements on over 27,000 acres and established state-of-the-art consulting assistance programs.
Bill has helped organize or reorganize over twenty land conservation and historic preservation groups. He was a founding board member of the Land Trust Alliance and initiated the discussion that ultimately led to the creation of the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association.
The Pennsylvania Land Trust Association is pleased to honor H. William “Bill” Sellers with the 2004 Lifetime Leadership Award for his decades of leadership and dedication in conserving our special places and landscapes.
