You ARE making a difference, thank you!

Message from Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy.

Dear friend of NPC,

I’m writing this message  to you today to remind you  – whether you even realize it or not – that you have helped so many of your neighbors and friends over the last couple of weeks.

Your support of land conservation has created new access points to the Pine Creek Trail, you allowed the Jacoby Falls Trail to stay open, you helped create the Butternut Trail at Worlds End State Park. A lot of the spaces (and more) are getting a lot more use these days.

People don’t have sports to watch on TV, kids don’t have spring sports practices or other activities, and we’re supposed to limit our contact with each other. So, what do you do? You go for a hike or go for a walk.

Thank you. Thank you for the past help that allowed all of these places to be conserved. Thank you for the foresight to understand how conservation helps communities.

We are continuing to work on projects with our partners. We’re doing more video calls (which is fun to see colleagues in their dining rooms, basement family rooms, with kids hopping through). There are still some fires that need put out (400 pieces of rebar that’s being delivered to a location that’s closed). But we’re moving ahead. We’re getting things done.

Thank you for your help in making all this possible.

Stay health. Wash your hands. Socially distance.

And, if you have questions for us, please don’t hesitate to email or call. We’re checking both and (like so many others these days) we’d be delighted to hear from a friend!

Take care,

Renee’

NPS Executive Director
