Three Park Projects Selected for National Campaign

07/25/2017

Three local park projects in Pennsylvania have been selected for the National Recreation and Park Association’s  2017 Fund Your Park campaign. The campaign is the first-ever crowdfunding site designed specifically for local parks and recreation throughout the United States.

The Pennsylvania projects that were chosen this year are:

Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority: To expand the Millbrook Marsh Center, with a funding goal of $25,000.
Greater Elizabethtown Area Recreation and Community Services: To build a more modern playground unit that is safe enough for 2-5 year-olds, with a funding goal of $5,000.
Richland Township Parks and Recreation: To install 20 new interpretive nature and environmental signs to replace the current system, with a funding goal of $2,000.

You can make donations until August 24th. Learn more about the projects and donate here.
