Join Radnor Conservancy in congratulating Lorna Atkinson in assuming the role of president of its board of directors. Laura Luker, previous President, remains an active member of the board.
Atkinson has lived in Radnor since 2007 and has three children currently attending Radnor Elementary, Radnor Middle, and Radnor High School. She has served on the Board of the Radnor Conservancy since 2015 and believes passionately in its mission to protect and preserve nature and open space in Radnor. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening at Skunk Hollow Community Garden.
Atkinson’s life-long love of nature and the outdoors led her to study for a degree in Rural Environmental Management at Writtle University College in England. She currently works at Riverbend Environmental Education Center in Gladwyne as the habitat and volunteer manager and likes nothing better than a day spent working in the woods with volunteers, removing invasive vines and planting trees!
