CBF is currently recruiting for a Water Quality Research Assistant to work within our Environmental Protection and Restoration Dept in our Annapolis headquarters.
This position will help track progress toward implementing the Clean Water Blueprint, including implemented practices, pollution reductions, and financial expenditures. In addition, the candidate will be involved in projects related to evaluating the environmental benefits of agricultural conservation practices. These projects involve using on-farm models to estimate the nutrient load and greenhouse gas emission reductions due to conservation practices and exploring opportunities for farmers to participate in environmental markets. The individual will track and compile relevant information, learn how to input data into the models and run various scenarios that will help inform CBF’s policy positions.
