Crow’s Nest Preserve
Natural Lands Trust manages nearly 20,000 acres of natural areas in the Philadelphia region, and protects lands using conservation easements and community planning. One of its preserves, Crow’s Nest Preserve, is 620 acres of protected lands along French Creek in Warwick Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Crow’s Nest has woods that are representative of piedmont flora; its meadows display native grasses and wildflowers, and several crop fields are farmed. Rustic walking trails wind along French Creek, through the woods and farm fields, and connect with the adjacent French Creek State Park, Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site, Horse-Shoe Trail, and State Game Lands #43.
