The position entails administration, coordination and enforcement activities required by the NPDES Phase II Stormwater General Permit and Township Stormwater Management Ordinance.
An employee in this position serves as the Stormwater Coordinator responsible for managing the storm water quality program to comply with state environmental requirements, to include review and issuance of permits prior to construction, organizing public education and participation activities, performing erosion and sediment control plan review and inspection, and regulating discharges into the storm sewer system or natural bodies of water.
