Wildlands Conservancy is accepting applications for a Seasonal Part-Time Environmental Educator to be responsible for developing, coordinating, promoting, and teaching community and school environmental education programs.
The successful candidate will prepare for and teach environmental education classes to groups and individuals of all ages and learn how to properly handle education animals in order to present wildlife during programming.
The successful candidate should have education or life experience related to outdoor activities, environmental studies, biology, natural resources, education or conservation, ability to work night and weekends, ability to work with all age groups, work independently and within a team, have patience and sense of humor, tolerance of inclement weather, and excellent interpersonal skills and must possess; current CPR, First Aid and AED certification; Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151); Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Record Check (Act 34); and FBI Clearance (Act 114). All clearances need to be presented to Human Resources before candidate will be able to begin working at Wildlands Conservancy.
