Under the direction of the Science Director, Restoration Coordinator and Senior Science Coordinator, the
Environmental Science Interns will provide field, lab and office support for a variety of science and restoration programs, including research, monitoring and on -the-ground projects. Examples include the freshwater mussel surveys and restoration, living shoreline projects, shell recycling and wetland monitoring (see http://delawareestuary.org/Science_Programs). The interns will gain experience in environmental field work in rivers, streams, wetlands and coastal bays, as well as scientific data entry, management, analysis and reporting.
