Audubon Pennsylvania as a leader in a network of 23 environmental centers spread across the Delaware River watershed and interconnected by multi-use bike/pedestrian trails and waterways (rivers, streams, creeks) seeks to hire a Program Coordinator to support a new Watershed Fellowship program created to advance our collective impact across the watershed. This program will foster watershed stewardship by establishing a cadre of ambassadors and building capacity for a network of centers.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Watershed Fellowship program throughout the Delaware River watershed, working closely with the network of 23 centers. Each center will hire young adult(s) between the ages of 18 – 24 to serve as Watershed Fellows, engaging target communities in watershed related recreation, stewardship, education and civic engagement. Fellows will be recruited from the communities which centers serve or seek to serve, and they will be trained as stewards and ambassadors of the watershed.

This is a two-year, full-time position. The Coordinator will work from a home office in the greater Philadelphia area and be supervised by the Director of Community Conservation and Education and work closely with all Audubon Pennsylvania and the network of 23 environmental centers.
