The President of Natural Lands is the organization’s key leader, chief fundraiser and most public face. He or she reports directly to the Board of Trustees, working with them both individually and as a group to establish the vision, policies, strategic focus, and priorities for the organization. The President oversees a Senior Management Team, all of whom report directly to him/her, and is responsible for the broad oversight of the organization’s administration, programs, services, and finances, ensuring best non-profit practices through routine strategic plan updates, annual work plans and the budgets required to advance Natural Lands’ goals and objectives. The President assumes a leadership role in relationships with funders, government officials, land trust community members, partner organizations, and the public.
