The D&L Trail Programs Manager coordinates outreach to communities located along the Trail. The position provides technical support to D&L partners, programs and initiatives. The incumbent is accountable for successfully negotiating multifaceted initiatives with interconnected partners, tasks and activities. This person must have a keen understanding of the importance of interacting with volunteers, the public and land managers, as well as understanding their role as an ambassador.
The Manager is responsible for arranging meetings and training D&L Trail advocates, as well as serving as a point of contact and controller of D&L Trail Tender, Trail Patrol, Trail Towns and associated volunteer activities of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.
