The Nature Conservancy Delaware Chapter seeks a dynamic conservation leader and an experienced team manager for our Director of Conservation Programs (II). S/he is responsible for defining and overseeing the implementation of the strategic priorities and strategies for the Delaware Chapter’s conservation work, providing leadership and oversight of conservation staff and land, water, oceans, and climate initiatives. S/he ensures alignment of Chapter programs with TNC Whole System, Regional, and Global conservation goals and works closely with the Delaware State Director and Management Team to define Chapter priorities and needs. S/he writes requests for proposals (RFPs) and secures grant/contract funding for programs and projects and works with the State Director to advance legislative priorities and lobbying objectives.
