Natural Lands Trust, Inc.® (NLT) is the region’s largest and most comprehensive conservation organization, saving many acres of open space each year! For more than 60 years, our mission has been to protect the forests, fields, wetlands, and streams that are essential to the sustainability and quality of life in eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
NLT seeks a Development Department Intern to support a variety of department activities. Reporting to the Membership and Annual Giving Manager, the intern will work approximately 10 hours per week and will have the opportunity to hone skills in all areas of NLT’s fundraising operations, including donor prospect research, composition of donor messaging and event planning and support.
The successful candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related subject along with previous experience in a development support role. The candidate must have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills and strong computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs. Experience with Blackbaud will be a plus. A passion for NLT’s conservation mission and the ability to maintain the privacy of donor’s sensitive, confidential information is a must.
