FPCCT Elects New Board President

05/22/2017

Robert C.F. Willson has been elected president of the board of French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust (FPCCT). Willson is a shareholder in the Malvern law firm Lentz, Cantor, and Massey, concentrating his practice in general business representation, construction law, general litigation, and real estate matters.

Willson is a lifelong Chester County resident. He is a 1982 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also received his Master of Education in 1983. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Vermont School of Law and a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County bar associations and the Stively Inn of Court. In addition to representing companies, builders and homeowners, he is actively involved with historic preservation and cultural organizations in Chester County and Philadelphia including Historic Yellow Springs, Inc. and the Mask and Wig Club of the University of Pennsylvania.

As FPCCT celebrates its 50th anniversary, long-time board of directors president Cary Leptuck has retired after 11 years of service.

“I am honored to have been elected to serve as the new president of French and Pickering,” said Willson. “It is with admiration and appreciation that I follow the many years of dedicated service and terrific accomplishments of Cary Leptuck.”

FPCCT executive director Andy Pitz welcomed Willson by saying, “Bob is an invaluable asset to the organization, as both a past board member and more recently for his expertise in complex conservation transactions. In addition, he has proven skills in not-for-profit governance.”
