Wildlands Conservancy is accepting applications for a Seasonal Part-Time Environmental Educator Assistant to be responsible for assisting the Environmental Educator with preparing for community and school environmental education programs such as summer camp and field trips.
The successful candidate will assist with preparing for environmental education classes to groups and individuals of all ages; assist with summer camp parking, attendance, crafts, hikes and other programs; assist with maintaining office/building organization and assist with other activities necessary to advance the mission of Wildlands Conservancy.
The successful candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age, have a genuine interest in natural sciences, environmental education, environmental science, outdoors, and conservation; be tolerant of inclement weather; ability to work with all ages and individuals; ability to lift 25lbs and must possess; current CPR, First Aid and AED certification; Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151); Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Record Check (Act 34); and FBI Clearance (Act 114). All clearances need to be presented to Human Resources before candidate will be able to begin working at Wildlands Conservancy.
