Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) is a regional land trust conserving natural areas throughout Northern Virginia on the doorstep of our Nation’s capital. NVCT is seeking an experienced land stewardship specialist to help manage our large portfolio of conservation easements and other stewardship initiatives. The Land Stewardship Specialist will provide oversight and care of portfolio of protected properties in the Northern Virginia area in cooperation with partner organizations and specific contractual obligations. The position includes monitoring and documentation of all easements and resolution of easement violations. It also includes developing and sustaining partner and landowner relations, and working cooperatively with land conservation colleagues in the office, other members of the land conservation community in Northern Virginia, and members of the NVCT Board of Directors.
