The Brandywine Conservancy seeks a part-time administrative assistant to support its Land Conservation and Land Stewardship programs based in Chadds Ford, PA. The position entails a Monday through Friday work schedule with daily hours of 8:30am to 1:30pm. Primary duties include preparing correspondence; managing filing system; maintaining database; other administrative duties including answering phones, scanning documents, etc.; and assisting in design and distribution of electronic newsletter. Candidates must have all of the following: proficiency with MS Office suite; familiarity with or the ability to comprehend legal documents such as easements and property deeds; the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously; excellent writing, editing, verbal and organizational skills; and a commitment to the mission of the Brandywine Conservancy. Bachelor’s degree and previous administrative experience preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of land conservation and easement stewardship.
